THE TEST Wins Best Screenplay At RT 22 Filmworks Film Festival

The TestWe are thrilled to announce that our short film, The Test, won the Best Screenplay award at the Rt Filmwerks Film Festival this evening in Bethlehem, PA.

Cineverus’s Rich Drees, who wrote The Test, stated –

I am absolutely honored and gobsmacked to have won this award, especially as there were so many great shorts at this festival. It really showed the breadth of talent we have in eastern and northeastern Pennsylvania and the surrounding regions. I have to share this award firstly with my best friend, creative partner and not-so-coincidentally the director of The Test, Natasha Bogutzki, who gave suggestions that helped polish the final drafts. I also share this with our cast and crew, whose own talents and work brought this story to life. Without all of you, this would still just be a PDF file in a folder on my laptop. And finally, my thanks to everyone at Route 22 Filmworks Film Fest who were responsible for for awarding to this to us.

THE TEST Screens At The Block Island Film Festival

Our short film The Test screened today at the Block Island Film Festival in Rhode Island today, with writer/producer Rich Drees on hand to introduce the film and to participate in a question and answer period after the screening.

Not only was it a great screening, with a nice crowd at the venue at at the Block Island Maritime Institute, but just a beautiful day for the ferry ride to Block Island and then back to the mainland for dinner with a nice bowl of New England Clam Chowder!

We’d like to thank festival director Cash Shuman for inviting us and Kristin Carey and Henry LeBlanc for being great screening hosts/Q&A moderators! Hopefully we’ll be back again to see you all next year!
